Residents invited to tour renovated facility, learn more about palliative care and hospice services
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Aug. 10, 2018) – Residents of Washtenaw County and surrounding communities are invited to visit Hospice of Michigan and Arbor Hospice’s newly renovated home office for an official Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 2366 Oak Valley Dr. in Ann Arbor.
The informal event will begin with a brief invocation at 11 a.m. and include guided tours of the building and outdoor gardens showcasing the variety of programs and services offered by the nonprofit organization, including palliative and end-of-life care, complementary therapies, special veteran support, specialized pediatric care and more. The tour will also highlight the organization’s history and displays dedicated to donors and volunteers.
Hospice of Michigan and Arbor Hospice staff will be on hand throughout the day for demonstrations and background on how the organization serves the community. In addition, the facility’s master gardener will be on-site to discuss the beautiful grounds and a photographer will be available for commemorative photos. Food trucks will serve lunch and refreshments.
